Featured Appetizer: Bruschetta con Pesto e Gamberi
Houston Restaurant Weeks is the largest annual fundraiser for the Houston Food Bank. Last year us, along with 250 other local area restaurants raised 2 million dollars to help feed the hungry in our area. For Houston Restaurant Weeks this year, we have put together a special menu and tonight’s featured appetizer is on that menu. It is sauteed shrimp atop Genovese Pesto covered crostini.. Pasta e Pesto will donate $5 from each HRW menu sold. The Houston Food Bank will generate 15 meals from this donation. This August, when you dine out, you can also do some good!
Featured Soup: Home made Gnocchi, sausage and spinach soup
This soup first made it’s appearance at our February 5 course Italian dinner and quickly became a staff favorite. It is back for another limited run! If you didn’t get to try it in February, come out and try it tonight. It is packed full of meat, gnocchi and incredible flavor!
Featured Entree: Chicken Quarter with roasted potatoes
Chicken quarters slowly roasted with oregano, basil and spices for hours, served with a side of roasted potatoes
Featured Dessert: Chocolate Mousse Cake
Just because we like chocolate we made a chocolate cake with a generous layer of home made chocolate mousse in the center!
